(Last year I posted a picture of the Grinch for Christmas, so I’ve decided to stick to the cartoon theme again & this year share my love for Peanuts with you! ♥♥)
.

(I love Snoopy, but I love Lucy the most. Why? She’s rather persnickety don’t you think? I like that. I’m a fuss-pot too!)

Hello~!!! Dearest blog readers!!!
 I’m back blogging!!! I’m so sorry I haven’t written in a long while…! It’s been ages, hope you haven’t forgotten me?? :)
.
So, how have you all been? And how did 2012 pan out for you?
For me, well…, it’s been a mixed bag of highs & lows - it’s been a little too rainy this year, & having the Olympics in town was not atall helpful as everyone had initially hoped. (read a Guardian website article about it
here)Â On top of that, what with the lo~ng recession we’re in, I can honestly say, it’s been a hard year…
.
But. But but but. Here’s the bigger picture. Everyone around me has stayed healthy. And I’m still in a job that I love doing. There hasn’t been any major upsets either this year… – Now, I reckon that’s pretty good going actually, doncha think? :)
.
Anyway! What am I writing about! It’s Christmas! No serious talk on a day like this, right!? That, I will leave ’til another post! And, ah, lol, no worries folks, I shan’t make it too long til I write next this time, as I am now in my one month+ break, I will have proper time to write to you! (My next trading date is FEBRUARY 2ND. Please note!)
.
So in the meantime, here’s a silly Christmas poem that might amuse you when drinking your schnapps…
.
It’s Christmas!
People have been discovering
On a Christmas Morning
That the curse of Christmas
That’s causing the most fuss
Has been unanimously concluded
To be “Batteries not includedâ€
 .
And if you like Snoopy, here’s a youtube link to an episode called “A Charlie Brown Christmas (The Meaning of Christmas)“ that’s rather enjoyable to watch post-stuffed-with-dinner! :)
.
My dearest blog readers,
may this lovely Christmas season bring you delights in all possible forms. May you receive love in abundance & joy that lasts throughout. Merry Christmas wishes to you & your loved ones.
With pixelated hugs from Tamami xx

How I’ve missed your writing Tamami, so glad you are back :). I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and may all your dreams come true in the new year. I hope you’ll find the time to write more too.
Btw, I was just writing a report on the impact of Olympics on UK and till now, I was under the impression that the impact was all positive, particularly on the economy. The article you’ve linked gave me some excellent points. I always take away something from a visit to your blog and thank you as always :)
Love
Poornima

Poornima! How it is lovely to hear from you always! Thank you! And I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas season!!
And yes, the Olympics: it was great in that it brought together the people here, but like the article, economically it was a disappointment, & it was a huge issue on the news & stuff at the time! Anyway, I’m glad I helped out a tiny bit like this for you! :)
All the best for you always!!! T xx

Hi Tamami! I’m a day too late to wish you a Merry Christmas (didn’t have my computer with me over the holiday) but I can at least say that I hope you had a lovely one and wish you happy New Year a little in advance. :)
Your truffles were a big hit with my boyfriend’s mum!

Hope that your Christmas was a Happy one, & that 2013 to come will be a prosperous & healthy one for you & yours.
All are healthy here. 2012 started off so full of promise, but started downhill in early spring. I already have my 2013v calenders up, in the hopes of banishing 20122 early!

Hello Tamami,
I had to wait a year before trying out the Galette des Rois leaf pattern which I admired so last year ! The homemade puff pastry is waiting in the fridge for tonight.Happy New Year and happy epiphany . Anne MC

Hello Anne MC!!!!! Happy New Year to you too!!! :) :) :)
Oooooh! So you’re making puff from scratch? How did it go? Perhaps you’ve bake it by the time you’ve read my reply? It’s a hell-of-a pastry making isn’t it? Pure labour of love. Sooo much effort & time goes in to making one pie…!!
– For me this year, I’ve left it too late to start on the puff-making, & so am doing it right now (I’m on my 2nd fridge-rest) as I write this. I’ll finish making the pastry tonight, then bake the Galette tomorrow. I know it’s not Epithany by then, but, I’m not Christian, so maybe it won’t matter too much?! xx
