Quick message

Hello. I’d just like to mention that I’ll be back trading tomorrow! I know it’ll be FREEEZING, quite probably covered in snow… – I hope that the weather doesn’t put people off coming out, because I (as usual) have made more than I can sell… (do I ever learn??)

  8. Hi Rachel! Thanks, it was very very cold – I had swollen hands – really red & it hurt for the rest of the weekend. (God I’m getting old…) But on the other hand, it was a successful day, so I’m happy :)

    I’ve been trying to convince my friends in the London area to go to your stall. If I ever visit London I’ll make sure I have enough time to go because your stuff sounds heavenly.

    Love your website – too bad I’m all the way in Melbourne Australia!!! Hope to plan a trip to the UK one day in the near future and will be sure to visit your stall. Thank you for a beautiful website.

    I had a question about metric conversions, I have a lot of US cookbooks and am stumped as to how to convert ingredients (the illusive stick of butter always gets to me). Would you kindly be able to point me to a reliable resource.

    thank you for your comment. I’m sorry I haven’t gotten back sooner – I’m baking on Thurs & Fridays, & I don’t get much of a chance to reply! Regarding conversions – I don’t use American recipes because I can’t be bothered to translate – so I don’t have any resourse… sorry! Good luck with your baking. t x
