This Saturday 9th of February

.

Hello! You got any plans lined up for this coming Saturday?

.

Just a quick reminder to everyone that I’ll be trading at the market this Saturday. It’s going to be one of the few times that I’ll be there (for this half of the year atleast…), so can I tempt you to hop along?

If the weather’s good, I’m going! I was going to go Sat just, but the weather forecast was lousy so I gave it a miss.

I’ll see you this coming Saturday :) I’m going to buy my neighbour one of your tarts!

  6. Hello Tamami! :)

It was nice seeing you today even though I felt a bit shy to say hi at first, mainly because you were quite busy when I first got there. Anyway meeting you was kind of like meeting a celebrity so I was all tongue-tied! LOL. Sorry about that, I’m normally not so quiet nor awkward, I don’t know what came over me!

I have just come back from my neighbours and they loved your tart! We had it for dessert and it was yum :) Thank you. Your brownie was gorgeous too.

I’ll definitely visit you again some other day, I really like Broadway Market. I should be doing a write-up on my blog about my market visit in the next few days so come and have a read if you have a spare moment :)

  7. Hi Jan!
‘Celebrity’??!! Lol, honestly…! But you’ve made me feel important n’ special saying that, so thank you! :) ;)
And thank you for coming by this Saturday. It was great seeing you (& your v. nice BF), & I’m glad we had our little chat in the end – I’m a bit shy, so I probably didn’t make much sense, feeling overwhelmed by meeting you!
    .
I’m glad you liked the tart/ brownies! And I’m v. happy you liked the market!! The weather turned out beautifully didn’t it? – Hope to see you again there (I’m there for the whole of Feb, if my condition allows!!). t xx

  8. Hello Tamami-san,
It seems like the weather in London and weather in Miyako must have switched these days.
Here in Miyako, it has been rainy and cloudy for 3 straight weeks. Feeling down,,,,,

  9. Hello there Toyomi-san,
oh dear, 3 straight weeks?? But then again, I bet you’re gonna get the most wonderful summer there later, so I still envy you never-the-less!

Here in Ldn, we’re unusually experiencing continuously beautiful, – most beautiful days. It’s still cold, despite being sunny, & pure blue skies, but I really enjoy the crisp air as I waddle down the road.

The cherry blossom trees have started to show pretty colours too.
I bought a pot of daffodils for £2.99 a few days ago, &, as common as they are (you see daffodils sprouting on the side of the pavement in Spring), I love it. I place it in a sunny spot during the day, & then on the shelf above the fire place at night so that I can enjoy looking at it. D says that once I plant it outside in our garden, it’ll bulb like mad, & next spring it’ll sprout out again! Can’t wait!
